Salary: £35.00 – £45.00 per hour (depending on experience, qualifications and working arrangement)

Our client is a group of modern, patient-focused dental practices providing high-quality private and general dentistry across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Dental Hygienist to join their professional clinical teams across Watford, Hemel Hempstead, Stevenage, Luton and Milton Keynes.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated hygienist who is passionate about preventive dentistry, patient education and delivering exceptional standards of care in a supportive practice environment.

 The Role

As a Dental Hygienist, you will play an important role in helping patients maintain excellent oral health through preventative care, periodontal treatment and tailored oral hygiene advice.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality dental hygiene treatments to patients.
• Carrying out periodontal assessments and supporting gum health management.
• Delivering thorough scale and polish treatments and preventative care.
• Providing personalised oral hygiene advice and patient education.
• Supporting patients with long-term maintenance plans.
• Identifying and reporting oral health concerns and escalating where appropriate.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records in line with GDC standards.
• Working closely with dentists and the wider clinical team to provide joined-up patient care.
• Supporting the practice in delivering an exceptional patient experience.

About You

We are looking for a dedicated and patient-focused Dental Hygienist who takes pride in delivering excellent clinical care.

You will have:

• Current GDC registration as a Dental Hygienist.
• Previous experience working within a dental practice environment.
• Strong knowledge of periodontal care and preventative dentistry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A friendly and professional approach with patients.
• The ability to build trust and educate patients on maintaining good oral health.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent clinical standards.
